The first fawn caught by a trail camera.
Number 13 brought her fawn to this feeder. I'm guessing she had it hidden close by and had just finished nursing it.
No, they don't all make it...
I found these remains this morning. I'm guessing it was caught and killed by a coyote. This is the second one I've found this year.

Look what I spotted...
I was lucky to spot this fawn laid up in this brush pile. I just wonder what was going through it's mind.

I stopped long enough on my rounds this morning to capture this quail pair. I hope they are nesting.

What a difference a year of age makes...
This is a three year old that is much wider and taller than last year.
It is hard for me to tell which deer this one is without seeing his body.
This looks like "Ace". He is growing a "sticker" on his right G-3.

A visit with Mother at the Haven
On our Thursday visit to see Mother, Patricia and Victor were there visiting too.
