You just never know what will pass in front of a game camera.  Here a large "Tom" Bobcat stops by for a drink at one of the ranch water troughs.

It's that time of year again...

In about a week or ten days they should all be scraped out.

Sightings at a water trough

I put a camera at one of the troughs just to see what comes up.  What I found was lots of birds, racoons, and deer.  I will keep it up for a while to see if anything else interesting comes to get a drink.

This one looks like it isn't very old.

It will be about three more weeks until the bucks "scrape out" and become hard horned.
