Tour of downtown Singapore

The city skyline from our boat.
This is what our tour boat looked like as we along the river in downtown Singapore.

I have no idea what this piece of machinery does. It was quite impressive though and was situated along the side of the river.

More skyline with bridge supports in the foreground.

There are umpteen statues along the river, this one is a brass of some boys shucking their clothes and jumping into the river.

One of the bridges we traveled under with some of the city in the background. The pretty flowers are boganvillas which were blooming everywhere.

Sandra checking out some of the sights to see while waiting for our lunch.

This is part of the skyline of Singapore with the "Merlion" which is the symbol of Singapore since the 1920s.

Ok, so I found out what the mystery machine is. It is or will be the largest ferris wheel in the world. That is exactly what it looks like too. Except that it is so large I never figured it for that. Me, you aren't going to catch me riding it, ha.
