Fawns are starting to show up on the game cameras

As the fawn grow and get able to outrun the predators they start spending time following their mothers. The younger, smaller ones are still left on their own to lay around and wait for their mothers to come back every few hours to nurse them. Many people have walked up on a fawn laying in the grass by itself and thought it was abandoned but until they are big enough to run away they are left on their own. Nature has provided them with a pattern on their coats that is very hard to see as they lay motionless. I have read that they have hardly no sent for predators to pick up either.
